09/08/2008Here I placed the 2x4's on the tubing and clamped them in. 2x4 with 2x2 for clamping. Set the mill depth for 5 1/2. If you go less you will hit the clamps with the chain. You can still get a board out of the first cut slab. I personally cut everything at 1 1/8 so if this isn't absolutely perfect it doesn't matter.
